Greyhound2018-2019 Rover Ruckus
Greyhound's drivetrain consists of 4 omni wheels with 2 traction wheels. It has a pivotable linear slide that latches onto the lander. Our intake mechanism has surgical tubing stringed through two gears, which spins and sucks in minerals. Metal side plating protects the robot from crashes as well as keeping minerals from getting stuck under the robot. The linear slide also has servo hooks that latch onto the chassis to help maintain height during latching. Greyhound features multiple 3D printed parts, which are all the blue and yellow parts you see on the robot.
